Dick Midgley Motorsports

Dick Midgley’s Motorsports has proven to be a competitive race team in the NASCAR Camping World Series West. Martin McKeefery has raced twice in the NASCAR Camping World West Series with Dick Midgley Motorsports. Both races Martin has competed at All American Speedway in Roseville California, Both were the last race of the season. Dick Midgley has proven twice now to supply a top running race car for Martin. “I am so impressed to finish both races on the lead lap and fighting for position with seasoned drivers whom have practice and raced the entire year. To race as a rookie in this series it has been a huge benefit to climb into a race car that needed very little setup changes before the race. It takes a lot of pressure off of me and allows me to learn the track and the car and progress forward quickly”.

It has been a huge undertaking for Martin to learn the nuances of the NASCAR Camping World Series West division, furthermore running a full bodied stock car. “I have enjoyed every step, it has been very stressful at times but every moment I have grown to appreciate the effort and time it takes to run in this series”. Martin is preparing to run the entire season in 2010 and shoot for rookie of the year title. Consistency has always been a strong suit for Martin, he has proven numerous times to compete for the series championship. He is easy on equipment and avoids accidents that seem impossible. Martin previously raced in the 410ci Super Modified series which is a no touch racing series. “My racing career has been full of open wheel race cars that have been light weight and nimble. I am used to running within inches to other drivers in the Super Modified series with power-to-weight ratio of 2:1. This has taught me to be a clean and safe driver as I maneuver my way to the front of the pack”.
